Non regular students of Tala, visitors/ tourist and non regular Iyengar yoga practioners must contact Tala few days in advance.

Yoga Rasa studio is on the 3rd floor behind the many phone shops across Sorya shopping mall on St.142( corner St.63).

How much does a class cost

Generally Talas 75-90 minutes regular group class cost $12 per class.  If you make yoga class part of your weekly schedule paying for full 8  class ( $88) or 10 class($100) gives a reasonable discount.

Please note that every so often, Tala offers Saturday Intensive classes(2hrs)to her regular students which also welcomes other yoga practioners to attend. These intensives costs $20 per class.  For regular students this cost $15 extra out of their paid 8 or 10 classes.

What to wear to class

Asanas are practiced in bare feet and with simple clothing that allows for ease of movement. A round-necked, short sleeved t-shirt worn with leggings or shorts is ideal.

There is a small changing room area, water for shower or to wash your feet. We also provide small towels that you can use.

Mobile phones and valuables

Students can take handbags and other valuables into the teaching area, but the studio can’t take responsibility for any loss or theft.

If possible, please avoid bringing valuable items to class and put your bags, shoes neatly.

Please practice RESPECT: put your phone on mute mode for the entire duration of the class to avoid disruptions.

Precautions

Asanas are best done on an empty stomach, preferably at least one hour after a light meal and four hours after a heavy meal. Drinking during class and eating before or during class is not permitted.

Save the environment, please buy yourself  reusable drinking bottle and use if whenever you have the need to drink juice, coffee or water so you have less carbon foot prints-help make Cambodia plastic free! Do not bring disposable drinking vessels at the studio.

Women should not practice legs up, inverted poses and some close twists and excessive backward bending poses during the height of their menstrual cycle.

Please inform your teacher if you are on T.O.M (time of the month), so she can help you to modify poses accordingly.

Pregnant women who have health issues and have never done a full year regular practice of yoga, please consult your physician first.
